PEMF Therapy Specific

Can I use a mat when I am pregnant?

PEMF therapy is not suitable for those who are pregnant or individuals with a pacemaker. If you are pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant, high heat therapy may not be for you. You can use the mat at a low temperature, but it is advised that you consult your doctor first about concerns you may have about usage.

Can I use the mat with a pacemaker?

It is not recommended to use PEMF therapy if you have a pacemaker or any kind of defibrillator. Consult with your healthcare provider before using any of the therapies.

Can you use the mat with an IUD?

Yes, you can use the mat with an IUD. However, it is always best to consult with a healthcare professional if you have any concerns.

Do portable devices have PEMF?

No, portable devices do not include PEMF therapy.

Does the PEMF work nonstop?

The duration of PEMF therapy sessions varies depending on the mat model. Most HealthyLine mat series are designed to cycle 20 minutes on and 100 minutes off for up to 12 hours continuously. The Platinum series mats come with an advanced controller that allows for fully customizable session durations and settings, providing greater flexibility to suit individual needs.

How many Gauss are in your PEMF products?

PEMF intensity varies by model. Earlier series like TAJ and TAO offer 2 Gauss, while larger mats in the Jet and Rainbow Chakra Edition 4 series reach up to 12 Gauss—ideal for those seeking higher intensity. These are peak levels measured at the surface of the coil.

How strong or powerful is the PEMF magnetic wave?

The strength of the PEMF wave varies by model but typically ranges from 2  to 12 Gauss. Our Jet Series has PEMF ranges between 2-30hz.

Is it safe to use mats and PEMF with metal implants?

PEMF therapy is generally safe with most metal implants but we highly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider for personalized advice.

Is it safe to use PEMF with breast implants?

PEMF therapy is generally safe, but it is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before using PEMF therapy if you have breast implants.

Is the PEMF setting always enabled?

No, PEMF works in cycles. 20 minutes on, 100 minutes off, and then on for 20 minutes automatically.

Is there a limit to using PEMF?

One session of PEMF is 20 minutes. One 20-minute session lasts 24 hours. We recommend at least 2 per day. You can safely do more. Our PEMF cycles 20 minutes on and 100 minutes off for 12 hours. The Platinum series mats come with an advanced controller that allows for fully customizable session durations and settings, providing greater flexibility to suit individual needs.

What is the difference between sine and square waveforms?

The waveform of the PEMF is essentially the shape of the wave and describes how it oscillates. A sine wave has a smooth oscillation, while a square wave has a sharper oscillation that transitions between its minimum and maximum values instantaneously. In terms of the effects the waveform has on your health, no study has been able to determine with complete certainty that one waveform is better than another. We include the option of sine and square as some doctors recommend certain waveforms for certain conditions, so it is best to consult with a doctor to see which might be best for you.

What is the waveform in PEMF?

PEMF devices use a sinusoidal (sine) waveform, which closely mimics the natural frequencies found in the Earth’s electromagnetic field. This type of waveform is gentle, rhythmic, and well-tolerated by the body, making it ideal for supporting relaxation, energy balance, and overall wellness.

What is the maximum use of PEMF?

There is no strict maximum time for PEMF use, but most users benefit from sessions up to 1 hour, once or twice per day. For extended use, such as low-intensity overnight settings, ensure the mat is on a safe surface and you're comfortable with the effects. Always listen to your body and consult your wellness provider if unsure.

What is the minimum use of PEMF?

Start with 10-20 minute sessions and gradually increase based on comfort and response.

What is the PEMF tester (plastic container)?

The small plastic container with the magnet inside is a PEMF tester. This will visualize the pulsed magnetic waves in action.

What settings are recommended to use overnight?

Use lower heat settings( 40 C and below) and turn off PEMF therapy if using the mat overnight.

What settings do you recommend starting with?

It is recommended to start with a lower heat, such as 104°F and below, for 30 minutes. One session of PEMF is 20 minutes. Start with the 8Hz frequency. Gradually increase temperature and time based on comfort and response.

Which waveform is better?

Sine wave is generally considered superior for PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy due to its natural, smooth oscillation, closely mimicking Earth's natural electromagnetic frequencies. Most of our series are set to sine waveform. Square waves, while sometimes used, may feel less "gentle" due to their abrupt transitions, but they can be effective in stimulating certain biological responses.  We include the option of sine and square only in our Platinum series.

Product Benefits & Therapies

Can photon light therapy be used on someone's face?

Yes, but use lower settings and avoid direct eye exposure.

For comfort and safety, we suggest resting your head on a pillow just above the mat while enjoying the benefits of the other therapies.

Does photon light therapy have to be used with direct contact with skin?

Direct contact is recommended for maximum benefits, but it can also be used through light clothing or thin cover.

What about red light therapy?

Bare skin works best for red light therapy. If needed, a thin, semi-transparent waterproof sheet can be used—it lets light through while keeping the mat clean.

They combine various therapies such as far infrared heat, negative ions, PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy, and photon light therapy to provide holistic wellness.
