You may also use the optional foil blanket to create a personal sauna. Lie down on the mat, cover yourself with the foil blanket then tuck it in under the mat to prevent heat from escaping. Keep your head out of the cover as you should not apply heat directly to your head. If you use the mat at maximum temperature make sure to have the mat covered with a towel or our optional waterproof cover. Our mats promote better blood circulation, increased heart rate and metabolism-similar effects of doing cardio! You can burn up to 900 calories in an hour, once per day. Please limit use at maximum temperature to one hour per day to prevent dehydration and hyperthermia.
